The Lifeladder emergency ladder-stairs allows the evacuation of people with a revolutionary vertical system which can be installed on the building façade. This system, made of independent and interconnected modules, can be attached firmly onto building façade and does not give way thanks to its robust and solid fixation system, which provides safe evacuation of people in the vertical angle, both for entering and exiting from the building if need be. It provides a fire escape area of suitable dimensions for a proper evacuation of people in case of emergency. The firemen are able to rescue people through the unfolded staircase.

Safety
It is reassuring as it is possible to leave the building and save one's life in case of fire, greatly increasing personal safety

Easy opening
The opening mechanism is safe and easy to manage. It can be used any person who may need help in case of emergency

Impossible access for intruders
It can not be used by law breakers to enter into buildings from the street and prevents people from moving from one floor to another.

Foldable and easy opening
Totally foldable from any floor or dwelling.
With simple mechanisms when opened, even after a long time no use.
Durable and safe after long periods.
Low maintenance and low cost.
Easy to use from inside the building.

No negative impact on building beauty
As it is hidden in a box which can be painted with the same colour as the façade, it does not affect the appearance of the building and does not cause physical impact.

Dimensions of the folded module into the façade:

80 cm x 184 cm x 76 cm
Dimensions of the unfolded module:

Platform 113 cm x 184 cm
Lateral Railings

80 cm x 76 cm
Front Railings
61 cm x 181cm
Telescopic stairway
35 cm x s/altura

All these measures are approximate and depend on the planning of each building.

On turning the mechanism installed inside each property or evacuation unit, all the modules open vertically in a synchronised way.

Automatic unfolding of the platform once the safety mechanism that keeps it closed is released.

Opening of the ladder stretches and their vertical release with necessary degrees of inclination to put the following module into action.

Opening of the lateral protection stretches and their vertical release, to obtain a perpendicular position with respect to the base. The lateral stretches are fixed with crossed bars which hinder any type of movement and protect the front part.

All the functions carried out by the modules at different heights are identical, except on the floor closer to street level. For security reasons the lateral protection and the ladder do not automatically unfold, they remain folded until someone, voluntarily and after having checked that they are not putting into danger people passing below, opens the security mechanism and lowers the lateral protection and the foldable ladder.
